The goal of the PTO is to support the teachers, students and parents of Greenwich Township. We do this largely by volunteering around the schools, raising funds for programs and/or items that the regular school budget cannot cover and keeping parents informed about what's going on around the school so they can support their children better.
The Greenwich Township PTO provides services that enhance our children’s everyday educational experience and strives to give parents a more direct voice in what happens at our school. We coordinate many programs that all the students enjoy, such as assemblies, accelerated reader stores, book fairs and organize class parties. We also host family activities, such as our Fall Masquerade Party, Holiday Kids-crafts day, Variety Shows…just to name a few. We are excited to announce the return of our Annual Family Fun Night, which is scheduled for January. We are also working closely with administration and our staff to coordinate our very first Field Day Event for the end of the school year as well as an Authors and Illustrators event for the entire school district.
We are able to do all these things through our fundraising activities throughout the year. These are primarily our Fall Gift wrap Fundraiser, Holiday Craft Gift Fair & Basket Auction, our Annual Spring Golf Outing as well as our ongoing fundraisers of Market Day and Shop-Rite (SCRIP) Gift Certificates.
The success of the Greenwich Township PTO relies on people who are enthusiastic about volunteering at our school. We have many committees that are active at different times of the year and require various levels of commitment. Whatever your own level of flexibility, the Greenwich Township PTO always appreciates their parent volunteers, as do our teachers and staff. Keep in mind that by volunteering, you will get to enjoy interacting with our students and faculty, become friends with other parents, and accomplish things that truly make a difference!
